An animal lover, avid athlete, proud pet parent and globetrotter - in no particular order.
With roots in Italian heritage, I was raised in Brazil by a lovely Brazilian family.
Life's journey brought me full circle, from São Paulo back to Miami, and finally settling in Fort Lauderdale, where I currently call home.
Along the way, I've embraced the vibrant Spanish-speaking community, navigated the highs and lows of living in a tourist hotspot, and weathered my fair share of "Hurricane Parties" - yes, they are a real thing!
My adventures have taken me to 25 countries and 26 US states, including the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska.
When I'm not exploring new destinations, you can find me walking my dog, savoring a delicious cup of coffee or conquering Spartan Races.
These activities not only keep me grounded and energized but also fuel my passion for adventure and exploration.
With each race conquered and every new trail explored, I'm constantly inspired to dream bigger, aim higher and plan my next thrilling escapade!
How and Where it Began
From US to Brazil
Born in the US to Brazilian parents, I've been privileged to experience the best of both worlds: a bilingual upbringing steeped in cultural richness, and the blessings of dual citizenship.
My educational journey unfolded in private schools. Outside of school grounds, I engaged in vibrant extracurricular activities, predominantly sports-related (swimming, capoeira and dance lessons), fostering not just physical prowess but also intellectual growth and camaraderie.
Choosing My Path
At 18, I embarked on a journey of independence, leaving my parents' home to pursue my education at São Paulo State University - UNESP - in Botucatu, São Paulo.
Recognized for my academic excellence, I earned a prestigious scientific scholarship from CNPq - the National Council for Research and Development - at 21.
By the age of 22, I proudly obtained my Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Biomedical Sciences and subsequently a major in Biology, solidifying my commitment to academic and scientific pursuits.
Leaving Life Sciences and Joining Tech
After a brief stint as an intern at São Paulo's University (USP), where I delved into the Faculty of Pharmacological Sciences, I made a pivotal decision to chart a new course for my career.
Setting my sights on broader horizons, I seized the opportunity to pursue a Master's Degree (MA) in Marketing and Services at FAAP, Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, situated in the bustling city of São Paulo.
Little did I know, this decision would be the catalyst for a life-changing journey into the realm of marketing, igniting my passion and shaping my professional trajectory in ways I had never imagined.
During my time in the program, I seized the opportunity to join Telefonica, a renowned global leader in telecommunications and technology, where I began my journey as a Junior Marketing Analyst in the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Division.
It was a period of immense growth and learning, as I immersed myself in various facets of the marketing landscape, gaining invaluable hands-on experience across multiple disciplines within the field.
From Brazil Back to the US
Telefonica provided me with an incredible opportunity to participate in a rotation program at their Miami office, which ultimately led to a permanent role within the organization in 2012.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager for the Global and Multinational Accounts Division, I was exposed to the vast scope of our operations, which proved to be both enlightening and enriching.
This experience laid the foundation for my transition to América Móvil's Claro Enterprise Solutions, another giant in the telco and tech world, where I became their first ever marketing resource.
In this role, I had the privilege to spearhead numerous initiatives from inception to fruition, igniting my passion and dedication to the field of marketing.
Over the course of my career, I have embraced diverse B2B roles across various industries and organizations, accumulating a wealth of technical expertise and practical experience along the way.
My journey has taken me from the realms of technology to telecommunications, from e-Commerce to Construction, and from Amazon Sellers to Life Sciences.
Fueled by curiosity and a drive for continuous growth, I eagerly seek out new opportunities to apply my skills and contribute to the success of businesses in any sector.
